How long does an IV treatment take?
It depends on the type and volume of fluid and the rate set by your physician. We'll give you an estimated duration when you call.
Is it safe to have an IV at home?
Treatments follow the prescription and are given with sterile single-use supplies by experienced healthcare staff. If anything unexpected happens, the treatment is stopped and you're advised on the next steps; in an emergency, 112 is called.
